I also bought a pathfinder and picked it up last week Went away last Saturday to try it out and it was a far cry from our old Dome tent. What we found was that if you leave the toilet lite on (youve paid for the hook up) if you close the door then hardly any light gets out but theres enough for you to find the bog. The only gripe I had with the Pathfinder was the fact that my two Daughters 11 & 7 ended up in the big bed as it was furthest away from the lounge area when I was knocking back the stella so me and the wife ended up sleeping in the smaller bed.Is this the only way it could be designed or are the people at Pennine who designed it single.

Best of luck anyway and I'm sure you will enjoy your new purchase as much as we intend to enjoy ours

Andy

Hi Andy,

We went from a dome tent to a frame tent now decided on the folding camper, mostly because of the positive comments we've read on here, eldest daughters problems and my health!

We've also made it clear that the BIG bed is mine and hubby's!!  The girls (12 & 9) have as much room on the smaller bed as on their airbeds so think they should be ok.  Our other daughter has Cerebral Palsy and will sleeping on the larger couch as a single bed.  17 year old son has decided the awning annexe is his as being away from his 3 annoying sisters is repayment enough for sleeping on the floor...

Hopefully this agreement will still be in place when we actually try it out next week.  Reckon bribery should work though...

I think the only time we won't use the awning will be on overnight stays, after putting up our huge frame tent the awning is the least of our worries.

Our Pathfinder is a 600 TC too, no idea what that actually means but really looking forward to going away in it.  Have a really good time in yours.

We plug in one of those lights into the plug socket when we are using mains.  It isn't bright, but it lights it up enough for toilet visits.  We have found it very useful.

Happy Pathfinding.

Thanks Sue,

Think I'll have to print out all the Pathfinder threads so I have a reference library when we do finally go away in her!
