Out of interest, why are you putting the bikes on a rack folded up, if they were unfolded would they not fit on a standard bike rack?

I had a single standard adult bike on the rear of my Pullman ... a standard roof carrier unit fitted across the pull out bed support bar ... worked really well.

You could have one 'unfolded' folding bike on the rear, and one 'folded' bike in the car? ... or one/both inside the camper?

We removed the fold down cupboard unit that took up so much space when towing ... then had loads of extra storage space ... an extra fridge over the axle and two inflatable kayaks, plus two lafumas ...

thats exactly the same arrangement i have.

although the guy i bought my 535 from had 4 bikes on a rack on the top.

looked like one that you would see outside a school
