thinking of buying triango arpege , anyone got one ? anyone got one or know of one we could look at ? anyone got any comments on said intended purchase ? thanks in anticipation
Had my 575TC for 4 years now and love it. I like the Pennines but value for money I prefer the Trigano. I had a Conway Challenger, new, and the 2nd time I put it up the end of 1 of the bolts holding the leg units were sticking out from the nut and as the bed went over I had a 4' rip in the canvas! Conway did not want to know, but to be fair to the dealer I purchased it from, he gave me a good price for it and that's when I saw the Trigano Randger. The king size beds are unbeatable with sprung wooden slats under the mattress. The toilet compartment can be made en-suite with a bedroom and the wardrobe is in side it as well.
We used to have a caravan but now have a Trigano FC and love it. We looked at the Pennines but thought that the Triganos were good value for money and with what we saved we can go away more often.
Ok now I feel left out. We have Trigano Vendome and it is brilliant. The salesman in the shop where we were looking at suncamps said if you could get a trigano have one every time. We got second hand in excellent condition and although have put it up about 9 times we still finding bits out. I found out this holiday what the "silly" folding flexy pole was. It is actually a very useful rear window opener!! The only thing is the roof lining is a pain and I have fashioned my own toilet cubicle so I dont have to put the whole thing up.
You dont see many pitched when out either but they are expensive new so I suppose if you have not had one before it is a big wedge for the unknown.
We have a Raclet Solena (part of the same group as Trigano) we used to have a huge Raclet Trailer Tent. Love Raclet in a storm a few weeks ago on the Lynn Peninsular in Wales our FC stood up to everything that the gales and rain could throw at it.
we have an ancient Chantilly ,strangely though Trigano don't do themselves any favours with their rubbish website they also don't answer emails.
i guess they hate non French users which is a shame they make a good TT.
its time people cottoned on its the 21st century ,websites are just as important as glossy catalogues or swanky show rooms they sell things too.
Also they should take pride in their history and make some effort to support their elder products after all its those older products that kept them going!!
we also have a chantilly, bought from e-bay at the start of the year
used it for the first time at the Isle of Wight for two weeks, only had one problem had downpour overnight on the first night and i did not screw the extending front roof pole up properly
Trigano Oceane owner here, had it from secondhand for about 4 seasons now, love the beds and space when the awning is up, hate taking it down it takes forever to pack everything away.
