Hi
We have just purchased a 2001 pennine pullman via ebay for the budget your talking about. Make sure you ask all the right questions including the obvious ones like, damp, rips, tears, bumps, damage, proof of ownership etc. Make sure you see loads of pictures of the real camper (not out of a book). If they are advertising without pictures there is proberly a reason. Only pay a couple of hundred pounds deposit through paypal or cheque so you are pretected, only communicate throught email, so you have everything in writing and print all emails so when you go to collect the item you can have a good look and check everything is as advertised.
We are very pleased with our purchase. Goes up in 10 mins, plenty of room for 3 kids & 2 adults for a weekend and with awning, loads of room for a longer holiday. tows like a dream.
Happy camping
