yes tt's are great too though hard work to erect in comparison. Cooking in the fc is not a probem though as the windows open completly giving very good ventilation and there is a light net to keep insects out who like the smell of sausages. the position of the cooker is also in a very safe position. Good luck with the tt and have many happy holidays.

we looked at the folding campers and trailer tents at our supplier and the trailer tent was by far the biggest but also took the longest to erect we had the cash so went from a tent straight to a folding camper and don't regret it, it takes us 10mins to fold out the camper and another 30 mins to add bed skirts and awning where as a trailer tent is about an hour(so the supplier told us and depending on size) so my advise if you can afford it and get stressed easy go for a folding camper if you don't get stressed...trailer tent hope this helps you out.

We had a TT and up graded to a FC, the best thing we did.  It has everything on board  and is much easier to put up, no pegging out unless you  use the awning.  I wish we had got the FC rather than spending money on a TT and then on a FC.  I can put the FC up on my own.  Also if you are away for a weekend you don't need to bother with the awning

There are models of folding campers, that do have movable kitchens and/or site the kitchen outside the main unit.  The Combicamp (child of 10 can pitch on own), Raclet quickstop spring to mind .... Note also that the Trigano folders feature as an extra a stand so that you can site the kitchen outside. Also the Commanche features movable kitchen.

In the same vein.. the Camplet also has a kitchen in the awning... a trailer tent but looks pretty damn quick to put up employing opening like a pram.
