Hi
I had a Conway for a little while, I cant remember which model - it didnt have a kitchen. It was sold to get a caravan.....a decision I ultimately regretted.
Still, its no problem as Ive just bought a hard top folding camper late this season..... so I too am very much looking forward to the spring and trying it out.
My Conway was about 12 years old when I bought it ,but in excellent condition and had been cherished by the former owners, who had only used it for a fortnight a year on trips over to France.
I paid £300 for mine and it was the first one I looked at.
I went with a friend later on to view ones with him, when he got the bug, and it was only then that I realised what an absolute bargain I had.
I guess I was buying at the right time of year (Sept/Oct) and the former owners had had their moneys worth out of it. I belive they paid £1800 for it new. They needed to shift it quick as they couldnt store it inside and didnt want to leave it in the garden rotting.
I think they wanted to give me some encouragement. Its nice when you sell stuff to people and you know that they will get pleasure from owning it.
Thats the way I always think!!! It helps me sleep soundly
