The only time we ever put the fronts down on the bedroom inners when we had our Pathfinder was at one site where there were MILLIONS of daddy-long-legs (at one point we had 37 in the awning alone!) and we wanted to keep them out of the bed area. The fronts had a fy-screen section so you could get ventilation without flying things!
Scampi masquarading a ScampisOH!!!
------------- Out of canvas, now a shed dragger. Its not me its the bloke in front.
When we had our Pathfinder, we rarely used the drop down fronts. We did find that if we wanted to remain warm without the use of the heater, then closing the front kept the 'bedroom' warmer. Also we used them in France - I HATE (bordering on phobic) bugs, especially the ones which you can only hear when the light goes off and then they wait until you're asleep to bite you...... dropping the front just kept the little b****ers away.
