Hi, thanks for bringing this subject up, I just checked with my insurance (prudential)

and a tow bar is not classed as a modification on our policy, she also said that we would be covered third party if our cruiser broke away and caused any damage.

Our car insurance company said it makes no difference to the policy to have a towbar or tow a trailer tent....he said the tt is only insured when moving.

just got a quote from insurance for trailer tents of 38 pounds per year.

i also have my tt insurance with these and for 1400 tt insurance plus 1000 for camping extras and contents its really not worth insuring
