Hi

I am about to sell my TT a Sunncamp 400SE. It has been used no more than 20 nights.  Iam selling loads of extras with it, including, ground sheet, EHU, porta potti, a gas heater and lights. There are some other bits to, I need to do a full list while we are away in it for the last weekend.

Hi

We would be looking for about 1500.00 with all the extras.  We will also be happy for the buyer to see it fully erected and to give a lesson in putting it up.  We bought the TT this year from a dealer who stated it had never been used. We have every reason to believe this as there was no evidence of use. We are using it in Norfolk this weekend and after that we will be ready to sell.

Extras I can think of but need to confirm with the OH are:

Porta Potti, CD radio almost new, two lights, parabolic gas heater and cannisters, gas bottle and fitting for kitchen, step, one table, ground sheet, some plastic storage boxes which sit on top of each other,  water container,  mallet.  All this is kept in the trailer, there may be more and some may need revising after I speak to OH. Most of the stuff was bought at the same time as the TT.

We love Mull, Christmas will be our third trip there in as many years. The wildlife is just amazing.

Ive got a sunncamp 350se tt and agree with all of the positive comments about tts well worth it. Another good point, as we found out after a very stormy weekend in Lincolnshire, is that as they are canvas if they get wet they dry very quickly. I looked at mine following a downpour in the night and my heart sank when I saw how wet it was but in less than an hour in a reasonable wind it was all but dry. only unpacked it when we got home to give it a light airing to be on the safe side but there was no smell or damp feeling. Good luck in your search and dont forget eBay they often have some real bargains if you dont mind it being a bit old.

So do I have this right?  Its possible to store a tt on its side wheels at the side of the house under tarps for protection, are they very heavy to maneouvre, are they dry enough.

we put moisture traps in ours through winter and have not had any problems (touch wood). Also I have seen these side storage bars but if you have a sunncamp it wont make much difference as the are just as wide on there side as they are on their wheels and as for moving it no problems at all for me, I just get the oh and kids to do it.

Yes trailer tents can have brackets with wheels. You tip them on to the platform and then wheel them. The idea is you can still get the car in the garage. They are heavy to upend but once on the trolley reasonably mobile. The "trollies" look a bit like the things you see on the side of double glazing lorries to hold the window and have wheels on. (somebody clever find a picture and insert a link! please)

That looks quite good. how many people do you think you'd need to get it on it's side and down the entry?
