We used to have a Penine Sterling (dark blue 2004) so we just had to take a look at this coffee and cream theme which I thought EEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWW! Barrons had a 2007 Pathfinder so I sat in it. I found the interior colours created a very chilled mood. It actually looks pretty cool!

Had a look on the highfield website and the interior is okay... but it does not look very practical.

Problem is what happens when it is combined with a camping holiday/mud/kids and cooking.... It is like having a cream carpet in a farmer's house...

The outside am sorry but it looks awful...

While in France over the past few years, it has been interesting to see the Dutch trailer tents and suncanopies.  Most of these are cream in colout and being aever practical I thought they would get dirty and mark very quickly.  This is not the case - if the canvas is a good quality.  I also wondered about the lightness inside - from a purely selfish standpoint I sleep best in absolute dark and our old Pathfinder wasn't bad - having the dark green roof.  Although now thoroughly commited to the 'dark side' I have to say - I quite like the look of the colour scheme, it would fit in well in France with all the other neutral canvases and the dust element would not be as obvious as on dark canvas. The only quibble I have is why, when the scheme is coffee and cream, is the base still white?  Surely a winter white or light cream would look better?

Just had a look at Highbridge website and seen the pics - the 2007 models definitely look like an old Fiesta that we viewed 3 years ago when we bought a Countryman instead. Daughter strongly objected to the colour because she said it was so old fashioned. (She doesn't like my new old Combi much either  )

Seen in the flesh today at Highbridge Caravans, colours not as awful as feared, but what have they done with the seating / cupboards?

The extral length seat on the near side has been shortened to match that of the off side and an extra cupboard introduced - its got the wheel arch in side so in my opinion becomes next to useless.

The sink has got a new deeper cupboard below, complete with cutlery drawer butat the expense of a draining board - I know which I would rather have.

Other changes - nice built in fan heater, but at what cost, my £10 job from Argos is quite sufficient, I also notice that the water heater has been replaced with a smaller 5l capacity one.

Glad I bought my Pathfinder last year and will not be looking to change for a while yet.

Magazine rack also exchanged for the speakers all in all I won't be changing mine. Like the carpets ours are fixed but that's the only improvement on 2003 everything else is worse I think

Really glad we went ahead and bought ours when we did after reading all your comments. Can't wait to pick it up next month.

We passed on our tickets to the Birmingham show today, to a friend. Apart from having no money left, I would hate to go and see something I liked better!! I was going to wear my UKCS t-shirt as well.

We got the last 2006 Fiesta that they had. Just beat the couple who came in 5 mins after us!  The coffee and cream 2007 model is £1000 more.
