We use a convector heater bought from Tesco's for about £9 (nine).

It is a rectangular sheet metal box with 2 elements inside and a grill at top and bottom to let the air circulate.

It is switcheable 1 and 2 kw about 4 and 8 amps at 240 volts.

We leave it on minimum overnight when it is cold and I often get up to switch it off cos it is too hot. It keeps that cold damp atmosphere out and leaves clothes and fabrics dry and warm.

We also have a fan heater but that is noisy and blows cold air when the 'stat trips.

I have an underfloor heater fitted but TBH have,nt used it in anger. I only fire it up to blow out the cobwebs during the annual service & spring clean. When we are away on the odd occasion its gets a bit nippy I,ll just sling another blanket on or wear my old army issue long johns & top. These are a god send as they are dark green & people cant see you pegging it to the bog at 2 in the morning after a night on the real ale , There will be no BWLs in our camper

We use a greenhouse fan heater, its thermostatic and adjustable right down to freezing.  It has 1kw and 2kw settings but we never use the 2kw. It can be left on all night set very low to just keep a steady temperature.
