Well, I`m just popping in from not-very-sunny-France t add that my 18 year old never-been-proofed Conway Camargue has been through some horrendous rain in the last four weeks and, despite being vey sun faded and doubtless having had mucho UV expsore during it`s many trips abroad, it`s still bone dry.
So my advice is still...don`t reproof till it starts leaking. Cotton canvas doesn`t need it!
