Does anyone remember the malted milk biscuits? They were nice.
Sorry, sorry sorry. Yes. Back to Folding Campers. Quick. Think of something contraversial to cause debate.....
Um... Sunncamps are made of nasty cheap chinese canvas which won't last 5 minutes. Dandys smell of old condoms. Pennine chose the more rubbish of the two opening systems 'cos it was cheaper. Cabanons invented themselves a reputation as top class makers of TTs and have somehow managed to convince people that it's true despite looking like an explosion in an MFI warehouse and using technology tat Noah would have found a bit old hat.
Where's Mark gone (original poster) have you had a look at any FC's?
I read this post in the first place as its in line with my present thinking (selling van and getting a folder) How ever I told OH my idea of selling the caravan last night and he nearly had a convulsion! I seem to be upsetting a few people lately! lol
I'm off to view a fc at the weekend (pennine pullman) so I'll take in the advice offered earlier in the thread about what to look out for.
One more question, when buying a 2nd hand camper, is it possible to do a HPI check on them like a car to find out if there is any outstanding debt or if they have been stolen etc.
My caravan used to have a CHRIS number. Not sure if these rules apply to FCs.
No CRIS demand windows that can be etched. It is worth noting the chassis number and seeing if it has been reported stolen on here or to the pennine owners. Most people have holiday photos etc showing it is owned by them for several years. If they claim to have bought it and decided against it I don't think there is a clear way to decide.
