Hi there,
Well pics will be posted today as I have charged the batteries on the digi camera!!
Caz, that actually sounds fine. We have the hook up lead and an extension for it that we used in the tent but only ran a small lamp and awning light from it so wasnt sure how much power we could safely use!We would be using a portable tv, a small chiller fridge and the same wee lamp and awning light. I dont use an electric kettle as half the fun is making hubby get up first to get the kettle on the gas!! No microwaves or toasters either cos if my wee kitchen 2 rings and grill cant cook it we buy it LOL. Also have warned teenage daughter that the hairdryer and straighteners can only be used in sockets in loos where fitted (guess how well that went down!) I have a small gas fire and we will try that out before we think of a different style of heating so no heaters plugged in either.
Caroline, thanks for the advice but we actually found putting Dandy up/away easier than our tent!!! Yes the roof is heavy and tricky but im sure with practise we will master that also. And as for condensation we will get that anyway with the 5 of us heavy breathing and fighting all day LOL.

Caz,
I agree with you!! Only took us 20 mins today on our first attempt at packing the Dandy away!! Was really surprised at how quick it was actually and things will only get faster LOL. Cant find the plate on a frame but have found a plate on the hitch itself dated 1989 so dont know if thats it. How do you clean the PVC? The woman I got it from went to a lot of steam rallies and it is really filthy in places and I want to scrub it in the spring, any advice? Not looking to have a gleaming showroom style whiteness just a clean unit LOL. Also need to do awning as it is filthy with various stains. Again any advice will be duly noted.
Did u c the pics? Hoe you ignored the washing pole LOL. I pitched it on the wrong side of the garden and havent had a washing hung out for 3 days LOL

Yep, I've looked at your pics. Looks like you got yourself a good deal there. My date is actually etched into the a frame, not on a plate. They all seem to be different though, so could well be there. A bloke I was talking to said that the manufacturer will kit them out to your own specs if you are buying a brand new one. That is why they are so different.
As for cleaning them, try Cif or something similar, seems to work ok.
Is your awning pvc also, if so try Cif on that too.
Have you looked at my profile? Got pics of my Dandy on there.
