We are now proud owners of one Camplet Concorde!

The handover ceremony was carried out by Phil who obviously knew his stuff and made everything seem very straightforward and simple.
Just how much of this knowledge has sunk in will be proved when we take it on its maiden outing on Friday night.
On reflection, I am confident in erecting the main unit, but there is still a lot more to it than I first thought. Inner poles, wardrobes, under bed skirts, curtains etc. all have to be put together.
The main thing is most of it takes place inside (in the dry!) Thankfully.

Shame that we have a big garden to put it up, but access limitations means we cant get the Camplet into it.

Hopefully nothing will get bent or broken!

Wish us luck!

Terry

Well we have done it!

From the early days of wooden poled ridge tents, to alum poled ones.
Kids.
Then frame tents, folding campers a couple of caravans and now back to canvas.
All be it perhaps cheating a bit by buying an easy put up trailer tent!

We collect our Camplet Concorde on the 11th of April!

It feels like an early Xmas.

TWO THINGS NEVER FORGET.

The Bar that GOES OVER BEFORE (to the right )you pull her up & over the already pulled out kitchen. If you do not do this you will BEND one of the main upright poles, on the right middle, coming downward between bedrooms & kitchen area. Its the one that has a tab around it to hold it down. Before it goes up/and last thing before you let it drop back shut again.

MAKE SURE. That you put the main window zippers level. IN THE MIDDLE of the window. or you will not be able to find your poles next time so easily to put your King Pin in.

We had to sell ours after just 2 seasons because I could not get out of bed on my own as I am in a wheelchair 98% of the time. Could not help myself at all as canva sides.

Isabella make the canvas that is why it is so strong and well made.

Enjoy it for years, jus tbe careful of those 2 points I wrote it down for a while till it became so common to so.
