Yer know, funny you mention that. I noticed just this time when I errected the FC on the drive to do this work, the light board on the wardrobe is getting a little wobbly. I shall employ a similar method. I've started the sat/tv installation but I'm gonna write that up in a seperate post. This is a great forum and I'm more than happy to share my experience and ideas.
I would be interested if you started a seperate post regarding sat nav etc.
I am currently putting together a Crusader FC, and would appreciate any advice on setting up the TV etc. This current forum on the electrics has been loaded with great advice.

Phil69x, I'm more than happy to post some advice mate. I'm just waiting for a few parts arriving so I can complete the job then I'll be writing up my TV installation with pictures. I'll extend the post to include some basic sat TV information for campers.

I get a new "telly" for my camper every year. I get them second hand in junk shops and car boot sales. They are usually still in their boxes or some have been started for a few lines and then stopped. They don't need power cables and there is only one "channel" on them.
I am talking about Tapestries, and it takes me a full year of camping to complete each one.
Absolutely marvellous for whiling away the hours while Mrs Lobey is glued to Constipation Street and Emerald on the more conventional telly.

Thanks Mate, look forward to it, I am currently putting in extra sockets etc, so will follow your advice and guide lines when you get going.

Well as a student of the LobeyDosser School of Advanced Pathfinder Improvement, I too have at last managed to finish adding two new 240v sockets (as well as the additional ones already in this thread).
They needed to be near each of the two fixed beds to allow easy powering of electric blankets. The one near the large bed was the real challenge as I wanted to find a 240v socket that would match the existing 12v that powers the wardrobe lights and fit it alongside. This really needed to be better protected from the elements as it was horizontal and nearer the door so I was able to find an IP44 version that matched the 12v Berker original. In the end sourcing one was difficult so I ended up with a near match in the Berker Integro Flow range rather than Integro Classic that all the other brown 12v sockets are in. It was fairly easy to connect to power by fitting a junction box in the feed cable to the fridge. Pennine had helpfully left a nice loop of cable at the back of the fridge.
