Hi Camcrofts,
We did it, eventually, the earliest we've ever attempted Camping,
As you said it was warm and toasty up in the Camper, but freezing cold and windy outside. especially going through the dewy wet cold grass down to the toilet/showers in the mornings. We joined the Caravan Club and managed to get ourselves a spacious pitch on a lovely Certificated Caravan Farm Site in North Devon with Scenic views over the countryside, all for £10,50 a night incl. EHU.
Unfortunately we were both ill, had a long 4 hour stint at the local A&E and had the worst Holiday ever, both in agony. So relieved to get home in one piece.
I'm sure our lovely camping neighbours thought we were having a real 'FUN' time with all the moans and groans in the middle of the night.
Really did think at one point I would end up having to do what your poor Ann had to do. Would have been a nightmare as I havent driven for a couple of years, let alone tow.
Never mind our next camping expedition can only get better.
Coastwalkers.
