with regards to a hard top camper being any better than a canvas top sounds like a lot of twaddle. what is the differance between the canvas sides of a hard getting wet and the canvas of a canvas top getting wet.i have also heard of the hard top cables either snapping or coming off the pully in either case it means a return trip home to get it fixed.it will be a very hard act to follow to improve on a pathfinder and i can assure you a hard top is not it.
