We have the oldest towing vehicle so far, we use a 1955 Series One Land Rover!

Just got a 2.0 HDI Picasso for our Fiesta, just needs a towbar though. Used to have 5 in our 1.8TD Escort estate, hopefully we'll have a bit more room in the Pic

i towed my conway challenger with a 1.4 C3 and it was ace but we got a pennine sterling middle of last year because i bought a citroen dispatch combi 2.0hdi, what a thing, you dont even know your towing something. untill the wife gets in to passenger seat!

We have a Mercedes 320 TE (last of the old shape - L Reg) which is a fantastic car in every way, so powerful.  We had it converted to LPG and now it is cheaper to run than my little BMW tourer.  I can't recommend these cars enough, a dream to drive, not expensive to buy, and if you get a good one it is almost like owning a new car - we have leather, air con, walnut, shiny paintwork, and all for less than £2,500 (plus the conversion of course)  This is the third  Mercedes estate we have had, last were 230TEs and we have kept each one for five/eight years.

Volvo v70 2.4 petrol works very well woth our conway tt. Also plenty of space in the boot and a long roof to accomodae a hefty roof box!

shogun 3ltr petrol pullin our trigano vendome have taken the extra seats out of the boot for extra room but she still manages to fill it to burstin point!!!!! its not that heavy on fuel pretty good really on the m/way plus luv the way it sounds{ might just be a bloke thing}

On our pennine pullman we used a 1.4 petrol ford fusion no probs with towing but you always knew it was there

we have been using a Vauxhall Omega 2.2 auto which towed like a dream, just got a new hyundai Tucson, can't say how this tows yet as according to the manual you can't tow until the vehicle has done 1000 miles, will have to wait a few weeks yet.
