Hi steve Sorry this is not just my view. I am a member who recommends others to join the C&C Club. Your answer to my comments are just your personal view and obviously do not comprehended what my statements were about. Discussion is to get to the bottom of a subject and constructive criticism is just that, constructive and not having a go at the club. the present club is without any doubt acting unfair to tent campers in the quality of the pitches on majority of club sites, tents are the only unit that can not level their unit to sleep on the level, most level well drained pitches have been turned into unsutable piches for tents, and they have to camp on piches that have far too much slope on them [[See the top piture in my gallery were I have had to use a 4" house bricks to level my kitch stand]],they are also put onto pitches that flood. they are expected to pitch on saturated ground, they do not have one purpose made all weather pitch that is suitable for modern day tents with SIG. Is that my opinion no that is 100% the truth of the matter, and until other members stop just thinking of themselves, that is the way your fellow member who camp in tents will have to camp on club pitches.
Even privately own sites are now providing AWP for tents
what excuse as a club who's duty it is, to treat all members as equell, None. please answer these true facts.
Regards
Rex
Yes the are welcoming and friendly are most that is why I am a member but the way they are run from the top ???

Hi - as a tin tent man I hope you don't mind me making a comment.
I joined the C&CC this year in order to have a "known minimum standard" when visiting sites have also stayed on some good quality private sites.
Don't understand why the club sites need to completely close facilities for cleaning when on the private sites I have stayed they are left open whilst being cleaned and have still been immaculate whenever I have used them.
Although a long time since I have stayed in a tent my impression after 1 season touring is that the C&CC seems too involved with static and lodge development on sites and is not investing enough in the tent & touring side in order to keep up with market expectations.
We all know the weather in this country so more should be done on pitch drainage, all weather pitches etc.
