Sorry to ressurect this old thread but id like to thank smartecosse for his floor replacement write up. I am in the process of doing this myself.
I was supprised to find the original floor was chipboard covered in underseal.
I think the water ingress was due to many extra holes on the back panel for replacemnt plate lamp and number plate screws and general bodged repairs by previous owners.
I will pop rivet these with sealant to try and close them up

The original floor is awful isn't it.

The rear lights being recessed doesn't help either.

Are you having to make extra joists to support boards being joined or have you managed to find one board big enough to do the whole job?

I used 3 boards cut to line up with the thin joist and have attached 5 joint plates on the underside to straddle the cross members, hopefully having the effect of widening them. Ill post a pic when im next on it as im trying to apply finishing touches like the air vents and electrics ect

Been looking through this thread and it's great
i've just bought a Globetrotter it's vey nice

it's also very easy to tow (we towed it with a Nissan Micra) i'll be towing it with my Citroen Berlingo)

Does anyone know what the hook thing is for ?
and how do the electrics work for the water pump ?
