Home and happy after collecting our wionderful HK Cocoon XL today. A lovely family were the first owners, and they have looked after really well for it's first year of life. It's in good as new condition.

Tomorrow we'll be getting to know the way around all those zips..........

We'll spend tomorrow giving the whole thing a spring clean. It's not in need of much attention, but we're keen to get it pristine!

It has the Masterclass kitchen which uses a Zarge aluminium case as the base. It then has another (smaller) Zarge case mounted on the drawbar for extra storage.

Both cases have a rather dull appearance, and some water staining. It's only cosmetic, but I'd like to try and bring all the aluminium surfaces back to life with a good clean. I'll try with some mild detergent first, but if anyone has a top tip I'll be happy to hear it

Why pick on Mr T? - he's already successfully undertaken an intensive course of therapy, and now sings the praises of trailer tents from the interior warmth and comfort of his caravan.

Ah where ignorance is bliss.

We have moved over to caravans because we are both approaching 80 and our health deteriorating.

We miss the space, comfort and warmth of the Holtkamper. Its ease of erection (faster than the levelling ritual of the caravan), its manoeuvrability and general level of fun.
