Hi

Just aword of advice,we bought a used folding camper from Camperlands a few years ago,we have since bought a caravan. From what we have since found is there are 2 main people to deal with John and Mark.

We found 1 very helpful and polite "Mark",the other was an absolute nightmare "John" we found him awful, unhelpfull, rude, arrogant.

Just to let any future buyers know.

Goldfish you do seem to have a bad experience.

We have had several dealings with "John" and cannot agree with you at all. To me he seems to be a polite local lad with a passion for his products. He has at all times been helpful both on the phone and in person.

We have recently ordered a new Camplet from him and he has gone out of his way to fit our rather impulsive demand to "go away in it for Easter" and are collecting it this friday.

I'm sorry you seem to have had trouble - we like all the staff at Camperlands. We bought our tent there a few years ago and always return to buy our gear as their prices are so competitive and everything is under one roof.

We bought our Camplet  from Camperlands in Nov. Collected in Jan this year. We dealt mainly with  Stuart,  but found all the staff there to be helpful on  both times that we visited - including helping us find a hotel.

Am taking the New Baby out this hol for the first time! - so will let you know if we find anything untoward.

I phoned up Camperlands when looking to replace my TT with a smaller TT or FC. After they sl*gged off the make I had............. do not mind constructive criticism but just total bias is very negative, stuck with my original dealer. Sad really because had I had a more understanding and an educated approach would have been happy to buy from them. Until a few years ago I worked for British Airways and Estee Lauder....... so know all about sales and service.

To be fair I only spoke to one person on the phone but that is all it took not to visit.

if anyone wants to try elsewhere we got our tt from barrons at coppel near chorley. they had a good selection of new and used tts. when we got ours we had a problem with the lights so they renewed all the electrics and gave us an extra under bed tent for the inconvenience. had a good demo and good after service.

Hi

Opened up a can of worms there,I for one will never be going back to Camperlands. They are fine when you are purchasing but the general feeling is contact them with a problem and you are fobbed off and are treated quite badly.

Avoid them,especially John.

Thanks
