First decide what sort of camping you're going to be doing. If you're going to have lots of weekends away then consider a folding camper (FC), they are quicker to put up, the main unit anyway, and have a cooker inside that you can use without putting up the awning. If you have a couple of longer holidays and need lots of room under cover then go for a trailer tent (TT). There are some "in-betweenies" that fill the gaps between the two sorts (combicamp and camplet) but generally that is the different sorts. When buying look at the state of the canvas as well as the running gear and chassis of the trailer. Buy from someone who is happy to put the tent up for you and answer all your questions. If you buy from ebay LOOK BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!! If you have any questions then ask away 'cos everyone on here will help and between us we know everything! (nearly )
