I have a 1999 p/sterling and it has flapping external window covers,

can anyone with this and a later model tell me what the rods are made of?

its possible they are alloy and later models are a carbon fibre.

because as usual pennine group are u/s with their help.

thanks

ALI

The Pathfinder we had, had alloy poles with 'Z' shaped ends to insert into each end of the pole and into the small tube shaped pockets at the base of the windows.  These kept the external see-through bit proud at the bottom. - They are called Penn-vents.  Yes the alloy was replaced with carbon fibre.  We preferred that to the idea of the canvas cover which the up to date Conways have.

cheers for that pennine plodder,

i called pennine group and did ask for the carbon fibre rods and they sent exactly what you said.i have made several upgrades to the camper but pennine dont seem to understand this. last time i asked for something that i wanted to fit to my old camper i was told , my model doesn't have it so your not getting it! ace.

thanks for that anyway.
