Hi Woody

We used our new Combi Camp over Easter for the first time and were pitched on a very slightly sloping site.  This was not a problem but I can imagine that if it had been any more sloping it might have been a problem.  Try to get as flat a site as you can.

One tip that we found.  When you empty your stuff out of the storage box under the beds, put something back in such as empty boxes, empty chair bags, the awning bag etc.  The first night we left the storage box completely empty and every time OH turned over in bed there was a sound like rumbling thunder.  At first we thought it was thunder and then after while we realised that it was the sound of the empty metal storage box resonating.  We put a few bits and pieces into it the next night and had no further 'thunder'!!

Another tip.  Don't forget to take some sort of small step with you to help with putting up the awning.  I am small but my OH is average height and he had difficulty reaching the awning without a step.

Enjoy your new CC, they are really great.

We leave things in the storage locker - only taking them out as and when needed - I have plastic storage boxes containing things like tent spares, clothes pegs, clothes line, board games, playing cards.  Also hot water bottles, the gas lamp (if we're on EHU) or the electric lights (if we're not).
