Hi all

I'm SO excited.  Picking up my Rapido Comfortmatic on Saturday!!!!!  She is a real beauty with an awning, fridge, electric hook-up and even a tall TV ariel.  She is really clean (I would say immaculate), and I am so pleased with her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now the technical stuff.  The current owner is going to show me how to put her up and down, so that should be okay, but he says I can either pack the cushions in her and put other 'stuff' on top, or I can put 'stuff' inside and cushions on top.  What is the best way to pack????  What will I still need to put in the car?

Many thanks for any help, and could I see some pics of all your Rapido's to give me some ideas about curtains etc????  My email jah0504 at hotmail.co.uk

Many thanks (and SO excited!!!!!)

Jackie H

We've fetched her, and she is up on my Mom's drive.  We love her to bits.  She is fab!!!  Can't wait to go away in her and watch peoples faces when we put her up!  Hubby was very quiet when he first saw her as he has never seen a folding caravan before.  He was absolutely amazed by her and couldn't wait to get her put back up on Mom's drive.  It was reasonably easy for a first attempt.

I have one query.  You know the long settee along the right-hand-side, well, do I put a board at the back behind the back cushion?  If I don't the cushion drops down to the floor, and sits at a funny angle.  If I do put a board at the back, is it the one without the 'skirt', and how do I position it?

Many thanks

Jackie H

Jackie it's the board without the skirt and you put it so that the bar/pole is toward you slot into back brackets and wood against the wall; then the seat board(with skirt) slots in front brackets and rests on the bar/pole of back of settee. Hope you understand this? Do you have a copy of instructions for putting up?

Many thanks for help on seating - I understand now!!

Can't wait to go away in her!  We aired the awning yesterday, and I am going to make some curtains for it before we go away.

Once again, many thanks

Jackie H

Jackie

when I had my rapido I used to store almost everything on the top of the caravan.

I then put the groundsheet over everything and fitted some long bungee straps  criss crossed over it for security and then the blue cover kept everything in place

it was secure and i never lost anything

regards

John
