Hi all
My hubby and I made our folding camper cover from a huge good quality ground sheet and an eyelet kit.
The blue peter bit -
We cut some small squares out of our old tarpaulin cover approx 3 inches in size put them under and on top of the ground sheet then banged a hole in by using a good eyelet making kit, the extra pieces abpove and below gave it extra strength.
We then threaded a large length of bungy strap (bought by the meter from Towsure) in between the holes and 'HEY PRESTO' a man made cover !!
The cover served us well last year and took many miles of wind battering on the M1 !!
Only advise I would give is add an extra piece of bungy strap from front to back to secure the cover down during travelling (as wind seems to lift the centre)
Hope this gives you some ideas, it worked for us
Cheers
