Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to recolour the canvas of my pennine fiesta fc it is originally green and cream or grey i think but the canvas on the cabin is very sun faded and i want to re colour the green, what dye or fabric paint could i use, and also it would have to sprayed on or painted on

Would not bother TBH, it would cost far too much money and it would probably turn out patchy and look a mess!

as above, you more than likely would make it look hideous in an attempt to re-invigorate it, and then end up needing to purchase a new one,

I saw a tt that someone had tried to dye on Ebay last year. They were selling it because they had given up half way through. It was a total disaster...one half streaky blue, the other half cream. It sold for about 25% of what it would have sold for if they had left it faded.

Incidentally, if you`ve ever proofed the canvas I would think the proofing compound would affect how the dye takes.

The canvas was reproofed last summer it never occured to me this might affect it if it dyed it

thanks for that prehaps i should leave it be

They used to sell a proofer that had dye in it. It made things look like new I wish they still sold it.
