Hello!

I'm a total trailer tent newbie and have just purchased a second hand Trigano Oceane 2003 model with no instructions (oopsie!).  Don't suppose anyone would know where I might be able to find any?

We use to have one of those, we got it from Camperlands in Manchester.  They might be able to help. 

 They are not too difficult to put up.First take the kitchen off and put it out of the way till you are ready to put it in position. Then take the transit cover off.   Once you have taken the transit cover off its just a question of opening the two beds, making sure you put the legs down.  Then pull the canvas down, push the poles up into position, make sure they all click into place. Then when youare happy with it you can peg it out, thats the main unit done.  It takes about 20 mins.  You now zip the awning on and throw it ontop of the main cabin and then asemle the frame.  You could do with instructions and a diagrame for this, hope you get some help.

On one side of the main cabin, when you have opened the beds up you have a pole that needs to be extended until the little buttons click into the holes.

As you're in the Camperlands area, why don't you go in and ask for a demonstration of how one goes up and down, let them think you're interested in buying, bet they can't help you enough.

I did go into Camperlands over the weekend and got the hard sell - they were lovely guys but really made me think of that Swiss Tony sketch - only with trailer tents! They were very friendly though, maybe they'll sell me some instructions or something?  That place is like an amazing aladins cave of camping wonderfulness... all those things i never knew i needed until i saw them - a fold up dog camp bed, a portable satellite tv receiver... Fab!

Recently bought one too, They are so easy to erect the main frame.

What I didn't get was an awning diagram just poles. Just wondering if anyone has diagram please.

Deb your suggestion sounds good though zip awning on 1st then poles after.

Hi, We have a vendome and we rang camperlands and they gave us phone number of rep who sent instructions. However they are a bit useless and there is no pole diagram. The easiest way is to separate the angles the top ridge is a shallow angle and the legs are steeper. The right hand side (where the kitchen goes) has a leg missing so it is east to tell which side. We have tried several ways and find the easiest to be-

Put poles together. Do not attatch hook bits to the frame but to the trailer. Leave the legs low and move frame to trailer sliding hook bit ends into frame. Push it all the way to the trailer. You may have to adjust the legs a bit. Put the canvas ove the frame and slide up and attatch the zip. Unfold the canvas over the frame. Now attatch the kitchen frame. If you attatch the damn thing before now it just pops off every time you move the frame.Now you can extend the hook buts and the legs till you all done.

I admit we only tried attatching the canvas to the trailer and flapping it over once and we nearly gave ourselvs a hernia. The trick is to try and see which suits you

The wardrobe is attatched to the roof lining and has its own grounsd sheet built in. We personally find it a pain and dont bother I clip a flat bed sheet to the roof pole to preserve modesty on the loo.

I have a diagram for the poles of the vendome but I dont have a clue how to send them

Thanks for all your help guys - we managed to get some pole diagrams and instructions from Trigano, and from camperlands (big thanks to those lovely lads and a very helpful lady!).  Anyway, off we went to set up - turns out its not a bl**dy Oceane at all but a Cheverny!!  There we are trying to follow this pole diagram only to realise it was not the same model - it was only after we got it up (almost ended in divorce btw) that we realised it looked nothing like the diagram and on researching tinternet did we discover it was actually a Cheverny.

No harm done though as it is in fab nick and we actually like it a bit more than the oceane.  Thank you to everyone who has replied!.
