Welcome Sam. Best thing to do on a wet and windy day like this is to join the rest of us nutters on this site and find the answers to any questions you probably have. I've only been a member for a few days and i'm addicted already! Good ides to look at campsite search at top of page and read campers reviews on any sites you might like to visit or have been to before.

Hope weather gets better soon.

regards

Pete.

Keep checking those weather reports Sam, don't forget, they say this years Summer is going to be hotter than last year. Make sure you've got plenty of weekends free cos when you do manage to get out, you won't want to come home. And when you do get home you'll be planning your next trip. You could always be as sad as me and the OH, we set out Pathfinder up on the drive a few weeks ago to spring clean and stock up and ended up sleeping in it ifor the night!! Any questions you've got you'll find the answers here. Have fun.

 hi Sam

I too am new here and found lots of useful idea's, help and information and the thing is...it doesn't matter how silly the question someone will have an answer.   we were given a raclet tt and only managed to open it to get to fix the lights!!! OH bit more for it now as he is a carp angler and used to his bivvy tent.Got to get a tow bar fitted before we can set it up properly, so saving hard!. REALLY FRUSTRATING not being able to just go off in it [:(]   have fun and hope you get away sooner than me!              karen

Hi Sam WELCOME

Don't worry too much about the weather forecast, we went away in our camper last weekend and the forecast was horrible but apart from a few hours of rain the weather turned out ok (just goes to show what the forecasters know).

Hope you enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours.

Colin
