Hello to all you fabulously helpful Camplet owners.

We've been away in our new concorde for 2 long weekends now and all is going very well.... but, we haven't worked out what to do with the door when it is open. This sounds daft I know, but in our tent the door had a couple of toggles and loops to wrap around it and hold it open. The camplet doesn't seem to have anything like this. I think officially we are supposed to zip the door right off - but isn't practical really.

Any suggestions would be most welcome.

Jo

Hi Jo

We tend to open our door onto the kitchen area and push the remaining fabric behind our larder to keep it out of the way.  It worked quite well for the weekend.

We opened the left hand door on our Royal and pulled it over to the door on right hand side (so the open door fabric was on the outside), where there was a toggle or loop it could fasten to. Reading that through it seems to make no sense! I'll see if I can find a picture.

Thanks all, we rolled ours towards the kitchen and tucked it behind the fridge, but was quiet breezy may bank hol and it kept breaking free and flapping wildly!

Seems kind of strange that there isn't a proper fastening device. Might give camperlands a buzz for a little advice.

Still love it tho.

I haven't found the toggle - have to try harder (as my school reports always said)

Not sure about coating the zips, call camperlands and ask them.

We seem to get a lot of moisture under the beds but there is a thread running on that theme at the mo. We seem to be doing as other folk - propping up the mattresses with something to air underneath - I used 4 bowls upside down! Worked fine.
