About a month ago I got the idea from this forum that a Towsure Universal hitch lock had been used successfully on a Camplet. On the strength of this I bought one....it does NOT fit and is therefore a useless £25 quidsworth. Be warned.

Having posted the first condemnation I thought I'd have another go and was totally flabergasted when I realized I had been trying to fit it incorrectly. I was ashamed of myself and retracted as soon as I could, becaus it works perfectly. Thanks for the recommendation. Sorry about the misunderstanding.

Taking the Camplet to Ireland for a fortnight on 29th May. First big trip.

I would have been just as furious if I'd been recommended something that ended up not working. 

Have a fab time in Ireland.  Hope the weather holds out for you.  Do turn your mattresses though.  We were quite surprised at how damp underneath they became.  Enjoy your holiday!
