Good Afternoon all

Apologies if this topic has already been covered a million times before, unfortunately haven't been able to find the answers yet :-)

I have a retro-fitted Zig Marque 1, leisure battery, Mains hook-up on my folding camper.  Everything works fine so far, and I can run the fridge from the 12V Car supply whilst I am towing using Pins 6 & 7 of the 12S Plug (fridge hasn't overheated and burnt the camper down so far).

How should I wire things so that I can charge the battery whilst towing ?  Is it simply a case of taking a lead from Pins 2 & 3 of the 12S Plug ?  and if so is it simply a case of connecting to the battery terminals ?

Does the relay within the car deal with the charging, such that the car battery isn't drained and the charging only takes place whilst the engine is running ?

Sorry if these seem basic questions, but would rather ask now and be safe, than be sorry.

Thanks for your help

I think that you need one of these: Self Switching Combination Relay
