if you have to pack away a folding camper wet hold soon must you unpackand dry out and what is the best way.

Agree Get it back up as soon as possible even if it is still raining. Take all the cotton linnings out and matresses if possible and let plenty of air circulate untill it has time to dry.

Yes, much better it standing out in the rain than packed away wet. It's the lack of air circulation that starts the mildew. Being wet in the open air is harmeless. No more than a day and you should be OK, but I'd never leave it any longer.
