E bay again I'm afraid.

Just want to alert people about a naughty trick  someone is playing on us. We have recently put our Conway cruiser folding camper up for sale on e bay. All seemed well until this morning when a seller contacted us to tell us of another seller who had just listed his f. camper using his text and some of his photos and some of ours and NONE of the new sellers own!! Says he doesn't have a digital camera in answer to our fellow honest sellers question to him!!! However he won't answer our question about why he's using our photos!!! Perhaps others may like to quiz him over this and see if they get a response or reasonable excuse...sorry explanation.

Not too good with technology  so sellers name is liambeever (Name & shame)

Perhaps he just pitches up on other peoples drives and take his hols there and hence has the same photo's as us and the other seller!!!!!!!

All joking aside it's folk like this that spoil E Bay for the majority of honest buyers and sellers.

If he has simply pinched your photographs I don't see what you can easily do.

He has not sold anything on EBay before so it might well be a scam??????

Now you know why some people 'watermark' their photographs.

Have reported it to E bay now, as apparently it is specifically against their rules

It's a huge learning curve isn't it?

and sad that you have to keep a degree of cynacism about other folks honesty / morals / laziness

We had the same problem when we put our TT on e-bay and another sellar used our pics. The listing got removed about 24 hours later.

Thanks everybody....OH was livid! & I felt much better getting it off my chest.

Just registered recently to the site after dipping in and out for a while. Keeps me well happy and restores my faith in the human race knowing there are decent folk around.
