Hi, this is the first time ive posted here, but ive found the site extreamly useful.

Anyway heres my question- i have found a site near Weymouth (oslington) looks really good but the problem is its a slopeing site . I have a pennine aztec folding camper and was wondering if anyone has any advice on pitching it on slopeing land. Its only my second time out in it . The site doesnt take caravans only tents (and trailer tents).Do you think i should pitch with the awning going up the slope, down the slope, sideways?? lol, sorry , im just getting my knickers in a twist about nothing probably, but i dont want to go all the way down there with my 3 kids then not beable to pitch. Any advice ?

Firstly put the main trailer as level as possible, with the awning it is usually ok as you can set the hieght etc.

We have learn't from our mistakes.... chock the wheels, we woke one morning and our TT had moved a few inches lol it was the pegging of the awning that had held us in place

Don't worry it's all good fun a nice level site would be too easy .....

Oh, thank you so much for replying, i have rang to ask if they could possibly reserve me a pitch thats level but they told me theres no pitch booking they just book us in to make sure theres no overcrowding. Apparently there are a few leveish places, we just have to try and get there early (5hr drive) so i may have o leave in the middle of the night lol. Ill take my chocks with me and face the awning down the slope.
