Has anyone tried these wind up levellers that lift the whole wheel up??, i am very fussy about the unit being level, and the wife goes mad saying i spend more time levelling than anything else.
The people next to us and we have one on our shopping list. There are two sorts ones which push either side of the wheel which seem easier and ones you drive on to which are cheaper.

We went to Suffolk weekend just gone and ended up having to jack the camper up to put another wedge under as it had sunk as the ground was so wet in parts. It was level before we went to bed but the blood had rushed to our heads by morning.
The one i had in mind are what Jan was talking about, they are metal and you ratchet them up.................cost between £70 / £80
I have just purchased one of the Bulldog levellers which you can wind up using the corner steady handle cost me 52 pounds in total which i won on Ebay there are always one or two on it took me a few goes to be successful in winning it and is much cheaper than buying new .Not had chance to use it yet but looks less messing around than running it up those yellow wedges.
I have one which is a wheel clamp & leveller in one ratehr than carrying both items. It works very well and cannot be removed without the keys but the downsie is the time it takes to attach it to the wheel. Only a few minutes but I am very impatient!
John from what you said we expected to be gone before you got back. John spotted one on ebay on thursday and bought it. Many thanks for the offer though. Hopefully Tim will buy it.
