Hi

We have a Pennine Sterling and have been on the Caravan Club Sites, with no problems. I have heard that caravaners dont want FC on the sites, but have personally not come accross this. The sites we have visited have all been immaculate and well worth many more visits in the future.

We have a sunncamp TT and are members of the Caravan Club.  We do have to peg out our main bit but as far as I am aware I have never felt unwelcome at any of their sites.  I am sure that they are both pretty much the same.

But it is definately worth joining one.  We saved more than the annual subscription only weeks after joining when we booked our Eurotunnel crossing for this summer.  It was £50 cheaper than the internet price.  Bargain!!

We're in both and have encountered no problems on either club sites or certified ones with the caravan club , however, forget the rallies management may be happy to have you but not so the regular ralliers. ( Either that or we suddenly turned into the great unwashed). The camping and caravan club also has a sub division for trailer tents and folding campers which you can join. If you intend to use minimal sites join both but otherwise I would go for the C&CC.

I have a so called 'proper' caravan and you'd be more than welcome to pitch next to me.

We are in the Camping and Caravan Club, we think its great.

The sites are quite cheap and clean, we are not bothered about pubs/clubs on site like the peace and quiet. They cater for everyone whatever your unit, which is good for us as we keep swopping, lol.

I would only join the Caravan Club if I had a caravan, which I probably will one of these days, their sites look really nice.
