nevermind regions ,we dont get digital anything but 100 yards away is fine.
how long is a piece of string applies ,leaving out twice the distance from the middle to the end ofcourse
We have used our DAB radio where ever we go, I usually get lucky. I can still get the main ones Radio 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7. I now have a good collection of stations but as I am not in that specific area the station is off the air.
i took dab with us couple of yrs ago to listen to wimbledon but never got to the end of the first match before the batteries died . bought some more thinking id bought some duff ones same thing , havent bothered since just put up with trad trannie popping and whistling ,fading in n out
We took our DAB radio to Anglesey last week and it was fine. We get good reception at home, which we didn't have a couple of years ago, so maybe the signal's improving.
It might help to stick an aerial in it if you've got one. Or forget DAB and use the digital TV instead - if you can get the TV stations I would have thought you would get the radio ones as well.

We have digital television up here, the analogue signal is being switched off next year, but we still have no DAB being transmitted yet.

excellent
i should have said we couldn't get a signal where we were staying in cornwall. We were tucked into the cliff in port isaac. We didn't try it anywhere else.
i presume DAB (and mobile phone) reception is patchy in cornwall because of the geography. As the craggy cliffs are part of the joy of being in cornwall it is a small price to pay.
