hi,can any one offer some advice,when erecting the awning on our 1999 pathfinder there are 2 poles with clamps on that do not seem to fit correctly to the roof poles as our instructions indicate.thanks al

You should have four poles with clamps two legs and two roof. Hook the hooks in to the main frame uprights and clamp onto the gables in line. The leg ones come up where the material on the front is solid. The legs are quite a way from the corresponding roof pole not in the same place.

hi jan,we seem to have only 2 poles with clamps that do not clamp on flush with anything.all the awning goes up ok with the exception of these 2 poles which must be uprights as they have feet on them.thanks al

Then you need another two. If it rains the roof will sag with only three poles across. In total there should be five roof poles and five legs.

clamp to the horizontal awning poles at each end of the camper. (a few inches away from the corner.) hope this helps.

They go on the front between the front corner poles and the centre pole . They act as supports for the front poles that go between the corner and the centre apex of the awning . Hope this helps . I have a diagram if you get stuck .
