Hi,

i am looking to purchase a trailer tent. I have the wife and 3 kids under 4. Looking at a suncampp 350.

The 3 kids could go in one double bed or the eldest could go undertent with me or the wife , so it seems versatile enough.

Could someone tell me the overall size ofthe trailer for storage, just want toc heck the garage, also does the towing element at the front come off to reduce the size.

One more, how much should i expect to pay for a year 2000 model.

Any help greatly appreciated.

thanks

mick

hi mick we have the 2001 suncamp 500 ( which is in fact for sale ) its overall length including the towing hitch is 12 foot , i dont think you can remove the towing hitch but you can always remove the kitchen on the end which measures 1.5 foot , so that would make the unit shorter, and hopefully fit it into the garage, with regard to what you should pay, well thats a tricky one, they seem to sell from anywhere from £300 up to £1500 depending on age , condition., extras, weve been watching them sell on e-bay and were selling ours for £750 ono, as ours is huge, with an awning extension too, anyhow , hope that helps a little.

Hi Mick,

Have no answers for you but just wanted to say Go For It! The kids will love the excitement of sleeping outdoors and will be whacked by all the fresh air!

Good Luck in your quest!

The a frame ( towing element ) is never removeable as far as I am aware as it is an integral part of the whole chassis.

We have just got a Pennine Pathfinder, it's tight but it does fit in our standard sized garage.
