Ferry fare apart, you`d probably be considerably cheaper buying an older trailer tent than hiring one for two weeks.
And if you have the storage space, now is a fantastic time to be buying second hand. I`ve been watching beautiful early 90`s Conways going for three or four hundred pounds on Ebay, with extras like sun canopies and front boxes included. Same TT would be going for over a thousand if it was May or June.

Topic: Trailer Tent Hire in France
I've never heard of anyone doing this but I know what you mean - would be a good idea - however I suppose hiring out a tt and checking all the bits n pieces plus showing how it goes up etc would be difficult - saying that I know sites in Denmark hire Combi-camp ttents but its a bit of a trek to Denmark unless you got a cheap ferry from Newcastle way - gorgeous beaches though?? Don't forget you can use Tesco vouchers towards some ferry companies and the Tunnel crossings which would help a bit??
