....just be careful with a 1998 pathfinder as it won't have the gas assisted opening unless its been fitted later - and it makes all the difference - one person can do it on their own when you have the gas opening...

"Does all the kit include the wardrobe you removed to give more space?"

Yes!

The unused wardrobe is now in the trailer and I will screw in the original screws if the purchaser so desires but I consider the wardrobe a waste of space, access and weight and much prefer a suitcase in the awning or spare bedroom.

If you have a look on the Pennine Pullman site you will seephotos and details identical to ours.

I notice the Pullman is 675kg whereas the Pathfinder is 870kg and ours looses a lot more weight when the w'robe stays in the garage. Leaving the w'robe out also gives lots of capacity for luggage and other equipment so the car travels light.

Another major reason we are selling is we are changing the car imminently and the dealer quotes us £800 at least for a new detachable tow bar.

we are selling our riva/dandy destiny it is just over 3 years old we have had it from new . the sale will include new acrilic awning .it comes with full skirts for front , back and sides . the good thing about rivas is they are totaly waterproof so can be put away if wet not like the canvas ones that you have to dry out.  we are asking in the £5800

we have a sterling 510 which was £6500 new in late 2005 so not far off your budget comes with everything you need except hot water(kettle) no built in toilet(porta potti) and heater(portable gas and electric heater).it takes us around 15mins to get set up with out awning and around another 30mins to do the awning and general tidying of the unit so say 1hr give or take if you want to have a look at ours with pics then click on ME.

bought mine from pick up spares then had a garage to fit it 150 bucks all in 235 for a new 1

We went for pennine because the main bed was bigger.
