I only have experience of the Camping and Caravan Club.  They have done us alright so far.  We like the club rules for their own sites - distance between pitches - dogs on leads - quiet hours to mention three. They call themselves the "friendly club" and I would say from our experience we have not found any different.

A Conway Coniston TT,  but the Caravan Club states that it is there for TT's too!

We're with the camping and caravan club and have no problems, they cater really well for us with our tt.

We have a tt and we're members of both - never stayed on any of the club sites but we have been to several CLs and CSs, which are great value for money but for members only. The monthly magazines of either club make the membership worthwhile anyway - so I guess it's up to you.

We're in the caravan and camping club. Love it for the same reasons as Emeffess - you know the standard you're going to get. We also booked 3 weeks in France with their Carefree section - brilliant.

we are members of the camping and caravan club, have stayed on a few club sites which have been wonderful sites, although a bit pricier than an equivelent non club site.  but that has been more than made for by attending the DA rallies, nice and inexpensive and enjoyable weekends there

A few years ago we joined both clubs but decided to stay with the Caravan Club because you can choose your own pitch, where as with the Camping and Caravan Club we were shown to a particular pitch.  Both clubs have excellent sites and facilities.

Ray.

We members of both. Ths camp and caravan club I cannot fault. Yes you get shown to your pitch but most managers will try their best to accomodate your needs and will give a choice if you ask. We recently went with a group needing 5 pitches and the manager gave us several options. We have used many of their sites with kids dogs and bikes and always find them accomodating (we have a v large unit too). We like the space and the rules like noise at 11 and no cars before 7, Deffinatly the friendly club.

The caravan club do not charge a deposit and you find they get booked up early and people cancel at the last minute as they dont loose money (that said the c&cc hold the deposit on account for you so you dont actually loose it). We have struggled to book most of the busy school hols yet c&cc have always had spaces. Their sites are equally well equipped and rules simmilar although when staying with friends found the children playing and being a bit boistrous caused a few frowns. We tend to find people in caravans are comfy in their own spaces and zip up the old awning and that is it. Tenters and tts seem to socialise more. Please dont all have a go at me I am only sharing my experiences and I have met some very friendly caravanners but generally on c&cc sites. It all depends what sort of a hol you enjoy I suppose.
