My camper is stored in my garage, so I dont have that problem, but I am sure someone will be along shortly with that advice. We have a 2005 sterling and have packed away many times in the rain, the main thing is to unfold the camper as soon as you possibly can when you get home. If we had the awning up we put this on the line as well.
When you pack up on site in the rain all the curtains and roof linning has to be removed. Our camper has covers (supplied) under the mattress that we pull over the top to keep them dry, we also have a cover that goes over the soft furnishings. That will keep these items dry. Again that is why it is important to open up asap, to make sure they get an airing as well.
This all sounds alot to do, but this summer has given us plenty practice.
Hope that is of some help
Paul
