Well said Alan...after losing both my parents last year in a car accident and being diagnosed with cancer of the kidney I thought why me? whats the point of going on?

Then I looked around..I have a wonderful wife a good home and a job that I can still do and enjoy..we do not have the proverbial pot to p*ss in but my God we intend to enjoy life...its too short  to worry about what others have got...have a look around yourself and take stock of what you have...I endorse what Alan has said..I never had chance to say goodbye to Mum or Dad.....Nuff said.............

Oh Alan I had to go upstairs to kiss my kids and think about all the daft moans I have.

Katie, I really think you need to see different gp or nice health visitor. It is great you feel you can talk to us all on here which is good as you obviously can appreciate you are not alone. BUT there is closer help out there and life will return to what some would consider nornmal sooner rather than later. Try to hear what those that have been there are telling you and believe them when they reassure you.

Some things are meant to be and the camper will come when it is ready. Relax a bit and everyone will keep their ears down, just when you least expect it an angel will come in the form of a folding camper with your name on it. Dont forget you have till next april now before you rearly need one and alot happens. What about asking for xmas money instead of pressies, we always do that when we saving. Dont go rash on kids pressies they have not a clue what they are worth anyway. I did not buy my girls hardly anrthing for 2 xmasses as everyone else bought so much anyway. Ok I accept some people would not agree with me but look on a holiday in a camper next year as their xmas box. The kids will enjoy it more than yet another pressie to open.
