We bought a Conway Countryman at the NEC this year. Took it out for the first time in November.
We used to camp and then caravan when our children were small, they are now 40 and 34, so it was a long time ago.
We are hoping we are not too old to start getting about again.
Of course you are not too old. If you are now retired, just think-- go where you please when you please and spend the children's inheritance!!! Mid week is the best, come and join us oldies.
Welcome to UKCS. Why not take a look at some of the meets we are having next year and come and join us on some? There's quite a few around the midlands area.
Thank you all for your enthusiasm. We are going away in March and hope it won't be too cold.
Hoping to come to some rallies, one of our grandchildren is keen on coming with us occassionally.
So we will need a child friendly rally at some time.
Hey, you are only spring chickens my wife 56 and I 58 have just returned to camping after a 15 year gap.
Bought a Bonair 1200 on ebay for £645, now sorting out brakes, and other small faults. Then end of March we are off with our 3 grandchildren to Filey for 4 nights.
Just make sure you have a good heater and the camper is waterproof-it will be great
