What I would like to do is get some mesh back on it and put a large pice of the red canvans (taken from the awaning bag) over the top glue the canvans on 3 sides then a long the bottom put some valcro (sp sorry don't know how you spell it) so that it can be opend and closed it would this work

She looks great Katie and i bet soon she will look even better. great that you're already enjoying her.

Re the canvas/vent -you can buy door fly screens which might do to replace the mesh window. cut a piece slightly bigger than opening and hem all the way round (have you got sewing machine?). Hand hem round the opening if its not already done to neaten it all off. You would then have to sew the mesh to the canvas(you can get strong thread and canvas needles-which are curved- to do this) I would also use a strong glue to reinforce the joining. Next take your canvas- again slightly larger and again hemall round. for the 'flap' you would attach velcro to three of the sides of the flap and to the corresponding area around the mesh. you would then need to attach across the top by stitching/sticking as with the mesh. (if you stuck three sides the you wouldn't be able to open it!) Finally I would imagine you would then need to apply seam sealant to all areas stitched to ensure its water proof.

Iknow that sounds complicated but once you start (if you can sew) its not difficult.

I'm so excited for you I'mgoing to have to go and check if I can do anything to Wendy now.

Nina x

Join the team and you will never be able to drive down the road seeing a trailer and wondering, "is it or isn't it". Best thing we ever did as a family, we've had a whale of a time.

The small hole you want to patch.

Simply cut a diamond shape from the bag you mention and stick it on with Copydex. Make sure the diamond shape points upwards so that any rain is able to drip around it easily. Copydex is very waterproof when dry and makes a very strong patch. You'll need to be able to press the patch on very firmly so if you can lay it flat with something solid and flat underneath you can place a brick on top.

Hi,

Great oufit. Out first was a Conway Challenger - Almost identical - even the colour.

We have some fantastic memories.

Would recommend getting a repair kit from a camping place such as Towsure etc. Then use the glue from that kit with the material you have. This glue is waterproof and meant for the application. Hole will be waterproof.

You will have so much fun customising and making it your own unique unit.

Have fun - and lots of it.

Chalkie.
