Have a great time. I am so jealous. I had so been looking forward to going away at Easter and then every other weekend after that.
It looks like we are going to be lucky to get away anywhere at the moment. My dad is 84 and mum 80 and dad is not well (old age plus) He keeps falling out of bed, going up stairs, etc and I don't think I can go away anywhere an leave mum to cope on her own. So post lots of details of your outings away to keep me going
Wish it was me going away, hell of a week at work! I am limited to odd weekends as son is on the Advanced Training Programme at Dance City, Newcastle, and has to be there every Saturday during term time, as well as two nights a week, never mind when he is a famous dancer and raking in the money I dont suppose I will complain!
Looking forward to hearing how it went! We eventually found ourselves a lovely second-hand Dandy and we will be 'moving into' it in the UK from mid-Feb prior to our warmer travels and hoping we will be warm enough!!!???
I'm glad to hear that. We chose the Dandy after lots of info from these forums, particularly because it's 'winterised' and waterproof, but we haven't been able to try it out all night yet so a 'little' apprehensive. Good to hear that they hold the heat, especially from those in the know!
We leave early May to travel through France and Spain until about October time ... the 'loose' plan is to rent somewhere in France next winter, but in all honesty - we're going to see where the wheels take us!!! It should certainly be interesting, we hope!
